RESIDENSI WILAYAH is an affordable housing program focused only in Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan only. Residency Wilayah is that it is an upgrade in terms of size, has better quality and finishing, and lower density.” For example, Rumawip had about 1,200 occupants per acre, while Residensi Wilayah only has 800 to 1,000 occupants per acre.

• 100% bank loan with T&C, limited to residential properties valued between RM100,000 and RM500,000 (Eligible for Malaysian citizens or employees in the private sector of up to 40 years of age; first-time homebuyer with a monthly gross income not exceeding RM5,000 if single borrower or a monthly gross income not exceeding RM10,000 if joint borrower (family only)
• Stamp duty exemption on the instrument of transfer and loan agreement for sales and purchase executed between Jan 1, 2019 to Dec 31, 2020 for homes priced up to RM300,000
• For homes priced between RM300,001 to RM500,000, the stamp duty exemption on the instrument of transfer and loan agreement is limited to the first RM300,000 and only for SPA completed between July 1, 2019 to Dec 31, 2020
• (RUMAWIP / RESIDENSI WILAYAH KELUARGA MALAYSIA price are all capped at RM 300,000)

It is expected that as many as 80,000 units of RESIDENSI WILAYAH are planned for future construction in the Federal Territory within a period of 10 years (2019 – 2028)

Applications can be made online at https://residensiwilayah.kwp.gov.my. The applicant should ensure that the email address is accurate as all notifications will be sent via email. Certain developer will assist you to apply in KWP upon booking a unit. There is no fix way to do it but certainly there is no middleman in this process which requires any fee.
